Pre-Drywall Inspection
Find problems before the walls hide them
Service Description
A pre-drywall inspection occurs right after structural framing and rough-in work (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) are complete, but before insulation and drywall are installed. It acts as a "live X-ray" of your new home, helping you catch costly, hidden code or safety defects while the skeleton of the house is fully expose. WHY THIS INSPECTION MATTERS 1. Easy Access to Fixes: If a pipe is bent, a wire is pierced, or framing is out of plumb it takes minutes to fix now. Tearing down walls later is incredibly expensive. 2. Selection Verification: It's the perfect time to double-check that structural upgrades you paid for (extra outlets, ceiling fan blocking, gas lines) are actually installed before they get covered. 3. Future Mapping: The photos taken during this inspection serve as a blueprint, letting you know exactly where all studs, pipes, and electrical cables are located for future projects. The Inspector evaluates the house from the foundation to the roof, ensuring all major trades did their work up to code.
